Welcome to the Community Forums! These forums are available for use by the residents to ask questions about life in our community, such as questions about their house, lawn and landscaping, about the pool, etc. While we do have general topics, please keep in mind this forum was not made in the spirit of being able to speak your mind on any subject or 'flame or attack' other users. If you want to do that, please visit other forums on the internet. These forums are provided as a service for the residents of the community and it is not considered a right to be able post here. As such, we do not guarantee any information provided in our forums, we disclaim any liabilities for any information we carry. The Website Owner reserves the right to edit or remove any postings, or user accounts, for any reason whatsoever. While the forums are primarily here for the residents of the Community, we currently are not disallowing others into registering and posting - in fact we encourage those who are looking to relocate into our neighborhood to create an account and ask questions and concerns. Beyond being kind to others (no personal attacks allowed), we do not have many rules. However there are a few that we need to enforce. 1. No offensive user names. When you sign up for a name, please keep it tasteful and friendly. 2. No foul language, keep your post tasteful. Remember that this is a community forum. Foul language is not needed or welcome here. The moderators will edit posts and issue warnings when we do notice foul language, so please keep it clean. Also please do not use sp@cial ch*ract%rs to get around the rule: the moderators will remove these and issue warning as well. Keep your post tasteful. Posts which include tasteless images, adult material or otherwise inappropriate material are not in the spirit of our community forums and are prohibited. 3. No posting of contact information of minors. We know some of you might disagree with the Website Owners stance on this. Believe me, whatever reasons you might have for us to change this; we will remain firm on this rule. We take the safety of our children here in the Community VERY seriously and will never put them at risk by posting their private information online. As such, if any contact information relating to a minor is posted here, we will regrettably have to remove that information as soon as it is noticed. 4. No posting of advertisements of commercial services outside of our area by any company unless directly approved by the Website Owner. Residents who are impressed with the quality and service of any service company they use are encouraged to share this information on these forums. Referrals are welcome; advertisements are not and will be removed. If you want to advertise your company, please contact us for ad space. We will not tolerate commercial spam on these message boards and violation of this will result in both the message and account name being deleted without warning. 5. Only one account per person is allowed. Please stick to just one account. If we notice you have registered multiple accounts, we will ask you to pick one. 6. A valid email address is required to be active at all times. If a forum admin sends you an email for whatever reason and it is bounced back, we will have no choice but to suspend the account and delete it if an address update is not made within a reasonable amount of time. We will of course use all means necessary to try and contact you to get the address updated. 7. Considering the real-time nature of these forums, it is impossible for us to review all messages or confirm the validity of information posted. Please remember that we do actively monitor the contents of posted messages but that we are not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message. The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of the Website Owner or any entity associated with such. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable or inappropriate is encouraged to contact us immediately by e-mail. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and ban users within a reasonable time frame, if we deem necessary. This is a manual process, however, so please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately. 8. Be kind! As stated above, we do not allow personal attacks. If you want to take up a personal issue with someone please do it offline. We realize some issues can get hot, but before posting take a deep breath and step away for a few minutes before coming back and posting. The moderators do not want to edit posts or suspend users but we will if we have to. 9. Please no duplicate posts. We know you want to get the word out about your particular issue/concern/question/comment/etc, but please take the time to pick the correct forum and place your message there. We realize a new topic could be a General Topic, a Community Issues topic and a Community Events topic all at once, but take the time to pick the most appropriate forum and post there. If you need help in choosing one feel free to send a message to the administrator for assistance. All users of our forums agree to follow these terms of use and forum rules. If you do not agree to these terms of use and rules, do not use these forums. Users represent that they have read, understand, and agree to these rules. Users agree that they will not post any material that is defamatory, infringing, obscene or otherwise unlawful. If you post material, you represent and warrant that the material you post is not defamatory, infringing on our rules, obscene or otherwise unlawful and that you have rights to post any material you supply and take full responsibility for your actions and will not hold the HOA, it's officers, and/or the forum administrators for any liability or loss.
